It was okay...
The book has the potential to be great but it lacks depth. There isn’t enough character development, it hazy on the family histories and rivalries, and there is what I call speed bumps in the way this book reads. It doesn’t have a consistent flow. I don’t know how the editor allowed this to go to print. Compared to other Bratva romances, I was really struggling to get into this book and understand what this issue was until midway to the end. If a rewrite is done with a clearer layout of the characters and plot and written well, then I think it could be great.
Nice Book
Venessa Kob is a new author to me and I have to say she surprised me. This story was well written and an interesting read. I am an avid mafia fan and this book did not disappoint! I look forward to reading more from this author.
